Background

Heather is a PhD student on the Precision Medicine Doctoral Training Programme at the University of Edinburgh. Her doctoral project investigates the potential shared genetics of autism and hypermobility spectrum disorders with the aim of improving the support available for people with autism.

Prior to her PhD, Heather worked in Market Access, where her work included developing content for stroke prevention website, and analysis and dissemination of the largest Osteogenesis Imperfecta patient-reported dataset.
