Background

I've been at Edinburgh since 2011 (initially as a British Academy postdoctoral fellow, before later being appointed as lecturer). I previously taught at Exeter College, Oxford.

In 25/26 I will be teaching Morality and Value (year 1, semester 1) and Advanced Topics in Political Philosophy (Y4, semester 2).

Areas of interest for supervision

I am happy to supervise projects in practical philosophy (broadly construed to encompass metaethics, normative ethics, applied ethics, value theory more generally, and the history of these). I am especially keen to supervise projects related to well-being in some way.
