Research summary

I am a current PhD student working with Professor Rebecca Reynolds, Dr Tom MacGillivray and Dr Rosemary Townsend to explore retinal biomarkers as novel predictors of pregnancy complications including stillbirth.

I have previously completed an MSc in Neuroscience, gaining experience in ALS patient-derived iPSC differentiation (Talbot Lab, Dr Björn Vahsen) and proteomic data analysis (Carlyle Lab, Dr Becky Carlyle). In 2022, I graduated from the University of Exeter with a BSc in Neuroscience including a professional placement year working within Neuroscience R&D at AstraZeneca, Cambridge. My undergraduate dissertation focussed on differential AMPK signalling in the brain and body (Dr Craig Beall).
