Biography

Background

Fraser started working in the EdinOmics core facility in 2021. Since then he has worked on developing skills for preparing metabolomics samples for running on the mass spectrometers within the facility which are coupled to liquid chromatography and gas chromatography systems. He has also been responsible for maintaining and running samples on the gas chromatography system. Fraser is also responsible for writing and optimising methods on an Agilent Bravo Liquid Handling Robot for automating metabolomics sample preparation as well as running the Agilent Seahorse instrument which measures real-time metabolomics in live cells.
