Francis Xiatian Zhang

Research Associate

Background

Francis is currently a research associate at the University of Edinburgh, where he focuses on bronchoscopy SLAM and navigation. His research specializes in integrating geometric information into computer vision applications, particularly for analyzing biomedical engineering videos. He is also a PhD candidate in Computer Science at Durham University. Previously, he received an MRes degree from King's College London, an MSc degree from the University of Southampton, and a Bachelor's degree from Beijing University of Chinese Medicine.
