Biography

Background

I am interested in investigating whether short-term memory binding deficits can detect the onset of Alzheimer's Disease. The recent scientific literature has shown that they are specific and sensitive to AD, playing the role of a cognitive marker for the pathology. 

My project aims to demonstrate that binding deficits can be considered as a bio-marker for AD as well. To do that, I am currently working with fMRI methodology.
