Emma joined the University in June 2020. 

Her interests lie in user-centred design of content, and related disciplines including:

  • User research
  • Content design
  • Service design
  • Systems thinking and development
  • Data analytics
  • AI development

Qualifications

Emma has a Postgraduate Diploma in Service Management and Design from the Edinburgh Futures Institute, an MSc in Digital Curation, journalism and marketing qualifications,  and a BCS Foundation Certificate in User Experience.

 

Responsibilities & affiliations

Emma has co-chaired the UCISA UX Community of Practice since it began in September 2021.
