Background

Zachary Purvis is a Leverhulme Early Career Fellow. He earned his DPhil from Oxford in 2014.

He is the author of the new book: Theology and the University in Nineteenth-Century Germany (Oxford: Oxford University Press, 2016)

  • Awarded the inaugural Best First Book Prize by the Ecclesiastical History Society in 2017
