I am a Chartered Psychologist and Research Assistant at the University of Edinburgh. My research focuses on psychological wellbeing and supportive care for people affected by cancer and advanced illness.

Research summary

My research interests lie in clinical and health psychology. A particular strand of my work focuses on psychological flexibility and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), including how these approaches can inform the development of accessible, evidence-based psychological support. My research to date has included work with people affected by prostate cancer, advanced illness and bereavement.

I am also interested in the co-production, development and evaluation of psychological interventions, with a strong emphasis on patient and public involvement and translating research into meaningful improvements in support and care.
