Background
I’m an ecologist with a focus on research with conservation goals, principally on seabirds, the most globally threatened group of birds. My role at the University of Edinburgh is a teaching fellow in Biology at The Centre for Open Learning, where I enjoy sharing my passion for observing wildlife with those who want to learn. Outside the University of Edinburgh I'm a lecturer in Ecology at Edinburgh Napier University, where I carry out my research and teach under graduates and post graduates.
