Policy Engagement with Research Manager

My role is to enhance the breadth and depth of engagement between University of Edinburgh research and policymakers in Scotland and the UK. Based in the Research Engagement and Impact Team, I lead on strategic initiatives for policy engagement with research, including the University's involvement with UK and Scottish policy engagement networks. I can help broker connections and target opportunities for policy engagement to maximise the potential of our research to create policy impact; provide specialist advice to researchers as well as engagement and impact professionals across the University on how to build impactful policy engagement; deliver learning events and resources on policy engagement; and (forthcoming) I will convene a Policy Engagement Network for relevant colleagues across UoE to help better co-ordinate activities and share good practice on policy engagement.
