Background

Dr Rob Stewart is a Postdoctoral Researcher in Genome Editing and Engineering Biology at the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies and The Roslin Institute, University of Edinburgh. His research focuses on CRISPR-based genome editing, functional genetics, and fish immunology, with a particular emphasis on developing genetic tools for Atlantic salmon. Through this work, Dr Stewart contributes to innovation in sustainable aquaculture and advances understanding of salmonid genetics and immune function.
