Background
I am a consultant neurologist in NHS Lothian and honorary clinical senior lecturer at the University of Edinburgh.
- NHS roles include general and acute neurology, with specialty clinics in multiple sclerosis and Huntingtons disease.
- I completed a PhD focusing on the mechanisms of neuropathic pain in multiple sclerosis, based at the Anne Rowling Regenerative Neurology Clinic and funded by the Rowling Scholar scheme. My Supervisory team were Profs Chandran, Fallon, Colvin and Tracey; Universities of Edinburgh and Oxford.
- I have an active neurology research interest particularly focusing on multiple sclerosis and Huntingtons Disease.
