Research Fellow

Background

Paro is a Research Fellow based in the Discovering Liveability team. She works on Work Package 3,  which seeks to understand and interrogate socio-political implications of claims about suicide made by activists and campaigners, as well as examining different forms of activism in contexts of life/death. She is also an Honorary Research Fellow at the Division of Nursing, Midwifery and Social Work, The University of Manchester. Her research there examines suicide and self-harm among Indian women.
