Research summary
Low-valent main group chemistry, organometallic chemistry, small molecule activation
Research overview
My research interests are focused on preparative main-group and organometallic chemistry. In particular, I am interested in low-valent main group compounds of group 13 and 15. The pursuit of novel bonding and structural characteristics is important, however more so is the emergence of new modes of reactivity, e.g. in small molecule activation. Areas for research include: the development of heavy multiply bonded and/or aromatic compounds, their use in small molecule activation, and their coordination chemistry.
