Principal's Career Development PhD Scholarship 2013-2017
Prior to completing PhD. worked to facilitate health and social care service integration and improvement in Scotland at operational and strategic levels for over 15 years.
From 2007 contributed to the development and implementation of a personal outcomes approach, with particular interests in expanding understandings of outcomes in diverse healthcare settings, exploring ways of engaging with outcomes for people with communication or cognitive impairments, and supporting practitioners to record, analyse and use qualitative and quantitative outcomes data in pragmatic and proportionate ways. Co-Researcher on Meaningful and Measurable, an ESRC funded collaborative action research project, which synthesised and advanced understandings of the possibilities and challenges of outcomes focused working across diverse human services.
