Background
Dr Iona Beange is a Knowledge Exchange Officer at the University of Edinburgh, who has worked in public engagement for over 18 years, across a broad range of topics. She is currently working on A Wellcome Trust-funded project called AMBER (Antidepressant Medication: Biology, Exposure and Response), which uses genetic, Big Data, and cell laboratory techniques to better understand how antidepressants work and how they could be better used to treat depression.
She is also Co-founder / Co-Director of a spin-out company called EPIC Think Learn C.I.C. which provides resources for parents, teachers and clinicians, who care for neurodivergent children.
