Background
I completed my doctoral research at University of Glasgow, supported by a Medical Research Council 1+3 studentship. My qualitative study investigated 'sexual function' from a critical sexological perspective. I am currently engaged in teaching undergraduate courses in Social and Ethical Aspects of Medicine, while retaining an interest in pursuing further research.

Undergraduate teaching
On joining the University of Edinburgh as a Tutor in 2023/4, I taught the first year course Social and Ethical Aspects of Medicine (SEAM) 1 Unit 1 (Understanding Experiences of Illness). I currently teach:
- SEAM1 Unit 3 (Health in Communities)
- SEAM2 (group project, with the title 'Sexual health among trans and non binary populations, and associated barriers and facilitators').
Research summary
Throughout my career, my overarching research interest concerns social and health inequalities, especially among LGBTQ+ populations and multiple marginalisation.
