Dr Carl Singleton

Post-doc Fellow in Economics

Background

My research primarily focuses on labour markets in the macroeconomy.  I have recently been studying what has driven British wage inequality trends, and how UK firms adjusted their labour costs before, during and after the Great Recession. I also work in the areas of gender and household economics.

I studied economics at the London School of Economics and the University of Edinburgh, leading to a PhD in 2017.
