Biography

Qualifications

Alana Sá Leitão holds a PhD in Anthropology and works at the intersection of religion, politics, and the public sphere. She currently holds a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) postdoctoral fellowship, conducting research on Christian nationalism that examines how political changes have affected church community life in Brazil. She have previously been a visiting researcher at Philipps-Universität Marburg and a Faculty of Arts and Sciences Postdoctoral Fellow with the Department for the Study of Religion at the University of Toronto.
