Background

Colorectal cancer often shows limited response to current immunotherapies, highlighting the need for new approaches. Attenuated Salmonella can selectively target tumours and stimulate local immunity, but the mechanisms that drive effective immune activation remain unclear. Understanding these early interactions is key to improving bacterial cancer therapy.
