Biography

Background

Since February 2023, Christine has been Deputy Director of the Full-Time on-campus Master in Public Health programme, based in the Usher Institute.

From 2005-2023, she was a Consultant in Public Health Medicine at NHS Lothian. Christine worked in the Health Protection Team, specialising in the control of communicable diseases, and management of public health incidents and outbreaks. She was also a clinical and educational supervisor for trainees in Public Health.

Prior to training in Public Health, she was a Clinical Research Fellow in the Department of Public Health Sciences, University of Edinburgh.
