Background
I am a dedicated PhD student, investigating the role of RPGR in photoreceptor function and how its dysregulation contributes to photoreceptor diseases, with a particular emphasis on cone photoreceptor disorders under the supervision of Dr. Roly Megaw and Professor Pleasatine Mill. I am excited about uncovering the underlying mechanisms of genetic diseases to drive the development of potential therapies. In addition to my research, I am passionate about education. I serve as a tutor for the Research Evidence-Based Medicine (REBM) module in the second-year medical program at the University of Edinburgh, where I have the opportunity to share my knowledge and cultivate my love for teaching.
