Biography

Background

Catherine Tinney has worked as a Teaching Fellow in Gaelic at the Centre for Open Learning since 2021, currently teaching Gaelic Beginners and Gaelic Elementary levels. Outwith the University of Edinburgh, she has a broad interest and work experience across Gaelic arts, working as a Gaelic singer and visual artist , frequently teaching in primary schools, as well as a having background in Gaelic language publishing.
