Background

I am a member of the Differential and Health Psychology group and a founder member of the Koestler Parapsychology Unit (KPU), which celebrated its 30th Anniversary in 2015. Between October 2010 and December 2014 I held the prestigious Perrott-Warrick Senior Researcher Fellowship. This enabled me to pursue a programme of research investigating the psychology of precognitive dream experiences, and to write Parapsychology: A Beginner's Guide, published in 2016. In August 2016 I was honoured to take up the position of Koestler Chair of Parapsychology.

For further information about my work, please visit the KPU website, blog, and Twitter @KPUNews. Summary information is below.

Undergraduate teaching

I teach an Honours option course called Methods and Controversies in Parapsychology, as part of the Undergraduate Honours Psychology degree programme. I also run an online parapsychology course, which allows the general public to explore parapsychological topics.
