Background
Caitlin is a Registered Dietitian with over 11 years experience in the NHS, with a background in managing complex clinical caseloads at an Advanced Practice level. Most recently, she specialised in Ketogenic Diet Therapy for children & young people with drug resistant epilepsy and metabolic disorders as part of a regional service.
Caitlin has now stepped into her first clinical research role, using her knowledge and experience in Ketogenic Diet Therapy to work on the Wellcome Trust funded ENERGISE-BD trial (Evaluating Nutritional Ketosis Versus NHS EatWell Guidelines for Bipolar Depression). She is excited about building her research career and has aspirations to undertake a PhD in future.
