Background
I completed my MSc in Bioinformatics at the Institute of Bioinformatics and Applied Biotechnology (IBAB) in 2019. Following this, I joined the National Centre for Biological Sciences (NCBS) in Bangalore as a graduate trainee, working with Dr Shaon Chakrabarti to investigate the dynamics of histone-mediated epigenetic inheritance. In 2022, I began my doctoral research under the supervision of Prof. Eleftheria Zeggini at Helmholtz Munich, focusing on the genetic basis of type 2 diabetes. In 2026, I joined Prof. Riccardo Marioni's group at the Institute of Genetics and Cancer (IGC) as a Research Fellow, where my research focuses on the molecular epidemiology of biological ageing.
