Current research interests
Spinal Muscular Atrophy and disease manifestation during mouse embryonic developmentPast research interests
Using DamID to study transcription factor binding in mouse embryonic stem cells - lamin A, reprogramming and ageing / Cell cycle regulation of cortical neural progenitors / Creating a synthetic self patterning system of mammalian cellsAffiliated research centres
Project activity
I'm looking at disease manifestation of the motor neuron disease Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) in mouse embryos. I'm taking a systemic approach, looking at several organs and using a range of techniques, from proteomics to broad anatomical characterisation.
