Biography

Background

I joined the School of Health in Social Science in August 2019 as a member of the professional services team having been based in the CAHSS College Office since 2013.

My current role includes oversight and development responsibility for the following areas:

  • Student advice and support 
  • Student experience, engagement and community 
  • The School Attendance and Engagement Plan (SEAM)
  • Regulations advice relating to the student experience, concessions, assessment, progression and awards.

I provide line management support to the Student Support Team and Student Community Leader.

Before the University of Edinburgh, I worked in the homelessness sector for about 15 years.  I have a postgraduate diploma in Community Education and the professional qualification, Leadership and Management of Care Services.
