Background
I grew up in Germany (near Berlin) and, after living in other countries on different continents, Edinburgh has been my home since 2006.
During my apprenticeship in publishing, a dual degree in European Business and my work for the German Authors Rights Association, I discovered my affection for language and working with people. I retrained with the Goethe Institute to become a tutor for German as a Foreign Language and have since taught German and English in Germany, Australia, New Zealand and Scotland. With the University of Edinburgh, I have been working since 2006.
