Thesis title: Pharmacoepidemiology of psychiatric ilnesses among British and Finnish children and adolescents attending Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS)

Background

My research focuses on psychiatric epidemiology, with an emphasis on the causal effects of psychiatric diagnoses and treatments in young people on long-term clinical and educational outcomes. Methodologically, I apply causal inference approaches (including instrumental variable analysis) to large-scale healthcare registry data from Wales and Finland, particularly to address unobserved confounding in observational data.
