Research summary

I am interested in the syntax and morphosyntax of languages of the world. In particular, I'm curious about what languages have in common and how they differ from each other and what that can teach us about how language works in general. I study phenomena such as case and agreement from theoretical and typological perspectives and try to understand where the limits of linguistic variation lie. Once that's done, I'm curious about why language variation is like it is!
