Background
Amelia Edmondson-Stait is currently finishing a PhD in Translational Neuroscience funded by the Wellcome Trust at the University of Edinburgh, Scotland and has recently started a position with Prof Andrew McIntosh working on the AMBER (Antidepressant Medications: Biology, Exposure & Response) project. This is a project investigating the causal mechanisms of antidepressant exposure and response.
Amelia obtained first class honours in Biomedical Science (Neuroscience) (BSc) at Cardiff University in 2016. She then went on to work as a research assistant at Cambridge University in the Drosophila Connectomics group before moving to Edinburgh in 2019.
