Background

After graduating in Spain, Alicia took a bold step and moved to the UK, where she dedicated two years to working as a veterinary surgeon in general practice. Her unwavering passion for learning and growth led her to pursue a master’s degree in veterinary anaesthesia and analgesia, complemented by an anaesthesia internship at a small animal referral hospital in southern England.

Currently, Alicia is on a journey at The Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies in Edinburgh, enrolled in the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine program while also serving as an ECVAA Resident in Veterinary Anaesthesia and Analgesia. Her deep love for animals and commitment to medicine fuel her drive to utilise her knowledge, experience, skills, and energy to enhance animal welfare and treatment.
