Background
Aerin graduated in Biomedical Science from the University of Dundee, Scotland, in 2024. In the same year, she joined CVS, becoming one of three within the BHF-funded 3+1 Cardiovascular Science PhD programme. She is currently in her First year (integrated Master's). Her main focuses lie within cardiometabolic research. However, she has gained skills within neuroscience (3-month rotation at 1 George Square) and renal diseases (Centre for Cardiovascular Science). She is on her final rotation addressing novel retinal biomarkers for predicting pre-eclampsia.
