Background

I am a lecturer in the Division of Global Agriculture and Food Systems department as part of the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies working on a range of teaching deliverables in the field of sustainable food production and animal genetics. My background is in population genetics, molecular ecology and evolutionary biology. My research to date has focused on population and quantitative genetics of wild and domesticated species. I remain particularly interested in the application of genetic approaches to tackle issues in conservation biology and sustainable living.
