Background
Emily qualified as an RVN in 2005 then was awarded the inaugural nursing scholarship at Glasgow University Vet School where she carried out a rotating nursing internship. She completed her Certificate in Nursing of Exotic Species in 2007 and pursued her interest working with exotics for several years before turning her attention towards ECC. She attained her Certificate of Veterinary Nursing in Emergency and Critical Care in 2015 and has worked in ECC both in first opinion and referral centres. She joined the Royal (Dick) Vet in 2016 where she is the Senior ICU nurse. She is RECOVER certified in Basic Life Support and is currently working towards her VTS(ECC).
