Background

Susanne holds an M.A. in English and American Literature and Language, Spanish Literature and German as a Foreign Language (including a teaching qualification) from the Friedrich Schiller University in Jena, Germany.

She has been teaching lifelong-learning courses at the University of Edinburgh since 2007. 

Susanne was a German tutor at the School of Literatures, Languages and Cultures from 2012-2024. 

She is the German Short Courses Coordinator at Languages for All and teaches all levels from Beginners up to Advanced.
