Ms Karen Howie

Head of Digital Learning Applications and Media

Background

I manage the Digital Learning Applications and Media (DLAM) Section which is part of Learning, Teaching & Web (LTW) Directorate in ISG.  DLAM provide technical service management for our centrally provided teaching, learning, assessment and media platforms working with staff in other parts of LTW and colleagues in Applications Directorate to ensure services work as expected.  We manage the contract with the suppliers when a platform isn't internally developed/hosted, putting in calls where there are issues and regularly meeting with suppliers to ensure adherance to SLAs and providing feedback about their services.

You can find out more about what my team and I do on our DLAM Blog.
