ECA crowned best for employability
Edinburgh College of Art has been recognised for employability in the inaugural Guardian Higher Education awards.

The College received the Best Employability Initiative prize for its Design Agency Project.
Workplace taster
Led by Graphic Design Programme Director Zoe Patterson, the Design Agency Project offers design students the chance to form their own agencies.
Each student agency is partnered with a professional design agency for a year.
The project gives students a taste for life within professional design practice.
Participating students develop workplace skills, such as teamwork and project management, in addition to their ongoing design development.
It's fantastic that the Design Agency project we have been running in the Graphic Design Department has got the national recognition we were hoping for. Staff, students and professional mentors have worked hard on this initiative and we are so proud to have won.
