Background
Franziska is a Postdoctoral Research Associate on Jo Wolff’s ERC project, ‘The Dematerialisation of Science’. Prior to this, she was a PostDoc at the Humboldt Centre for Philosophy at Ulm University. She holds a PhD in Philosophy from the University of Vienna, an MA in Logic and Philosophy of Science from the Munich Center for Mathematical Philosophy at LMU Munich, and a BA in Chemistry and Philosophy from Ruhr-University Bochum.
Research summary
Franziska’s research covers the general philosophy of science, the philosophy of the life sciences, and the philosophy of the historical sciences. Her PhD focused on philosophy of origins of life research.
