Biography

Background

Ioanna graduated from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 2021. Following her graduation, she volunteered in Thailand before beginning her veterinary career as a General Practitioner in Devon, UK. She then completed a one-year rotating internship at the University of Glasgow, where she subsequently undertook a specialised internship in Small Animal Oncology.

She is currently completing a one-year specialised internship in Small Animal Oncology at the University of Edinburgh, with the goal of pursuing a residency in Oncology and becoming a specialist in the field. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her four dogs, playing tennis, hiking, and practicing Pilates.
