Biography

Background

As an educator and designer, Kirsty Frew has experience spanning fashion design, communication, and technology, with a central focus on studio-based learning and inclusive practices. She currently serves as a Lecturer in Fashion Design at SCF.

With a background in both education and the fashion industry, she has worked across roles in design, buying, and garment development. Alongside teaching, she continues to engage in creative practice, often working across disciplines and with a focus on slow fashion models.

Her teaching is informed by an interest in reflective practice, collaboration, and process-based learning, supporting students in developing their own creative direction. She brings experience working in cross-cultural settings and international education environments.
