Teaching Fellow in English for Academic Purposes

Background

I am a Teaching Fellow in English Language Education in the Centre for Open Learning. Within the centre, I teach on a range of programmes at Foundation, Undergraduate and Postgraduate level. The majority of my teaching is currently on the English for Academic Purposes course on the International Foundation Programme. I am also Course Organiser for English for the LLM on the Summer Pre-Sessional Programme.

My scholarship interests include inclusive teaching and learning practices, and decolonising practices within EAP and the curriculum.

Before joining the University of Edinburgh, I taught at various other universities in the UK and Spain.

Masters degree in Bilingualism & International Education (2015)

Bachelor of Arts degree in Economic & Social History (2010)
