Meaghan Griffiths (PhD)

EXPPECT Research Fellow

Background

Meaghan obtained her Bachelor of Science (Honours) from Monash University in 2017, which sparked an interest and passion for reproductive biology research. She then undertook a PhD at the Biomedicine Discovery Institute, Monash University, studying how exogenous insults (eg. cancer therapies) impact pregnancy and uterine function. After finishing her PhD in 2021, Meaghan pivoted into endometriosis research as a post-doctoral researcher at the University of Melbourne. Meaghan relocated to Edinburgh in 2023 where her research now combines her discovery science training and interest in uterine cell biology and fertility, with the endometriosis expertise of the EXPPECT team.
