Biography

Background

Yizhu received her BA at Peking University in 2019 and MA at King's College London in 2020. She started her PhD here in the following year. Her main research interests lie in the  field of Chinese history of thought. 

Current research interests

Yizhu's current research focuses on the Ming Confucian Wang Yangming (1472-1529). Her thesis delves into historical sources to explore how Wang Yangming's engagement in Buddhism and Daoism influenced his philosophy.
