Research summary

The current research explores the interreligious aspect within Religious Education teacher training institutions. The study's objective is to investigate the complexities and evolving dynamics of perceiving other religions among Religious Education teacher trainees. Using a course dedicated to the study of various religions as its focal point, the research also analyses the broader socio-politico-religio context concerning interreligious relations in Indonesia. The case studies concentrate on Christian and Islamic Religious Education teacher training institutions in the Jakarta metropolitan area and its environs.
