Background
Fabio is a philosopher who likes to think about the ethical impacts of technology. Previously, he was a postdoctoral researcher on the Bridging responsible AI Divides (BRAID) program at the Univeristy of Edinburgh (2023-2026). Currently, he is a teaching fellow in the philosophy department.
He is also research fellow at the unit for the ethics of technology at Stellenbosch university and a research associate at the Centre for Artificial Intelligence Research (CAIR) at the university of Pretoria. He is part of the management team of the UNESCO Chair in AI for Community Resliance (CoRE), based at the University of Pretoria.
