Biography

Background

Nicole is a communications specialist with significant experience in event planning and marketing in higher education. Before joining the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies, Nicole worked as a Digital Marketing Coordinator at McMaster University in Canada, and before that, was a Communications Assistant at Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board. Her education includes an MSc Strategic Communications and Public Relations from Queen Margaret University, Musselburgh which she achieved in 2019. Her prior experience living in Edinburgh encouraged her to move back at the beginning of 2023, when she then joined the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies as the Senior Marketing and Events Administrator.

Nicole now works with EPIC Scotland as, Knowledge Exchange and Communications Officer.
