Background

My interest in psychology began during my undergraduate degree at the University of Dundee where I attained a BA Hons in Psychology. I decided following this that I would like to pursue a career in clinical psychology and continued my academic journey at Newcastle University completing a Masters in Foundations in Clinical Psychology. During this time, I also began working as an Assistant Psychologist in Newcastle for a company called Neurocog that provides neurological rehabilitation, expert witness reports, and post-concussion support.

Since graduating from my Masters my interest in the clinical psychology sector, and corresponding research, has only grown. I am now working as a Research Assistant for the University of Edinburgh on EDIFY. This project aims to delineate eating disorder illness and recovery trajectories to inform personalised prevention and early intervention in young people.  Learn more about EDIFY here: https://edifyresearch.co.uk/
